June 01: Flyway Farm & Forest
Healing Self After Near-Death Experience

Today, I sit looking out a doorway to a new world in a wetlands under the migratory bird flyway corridor between Alaska and South America. Spillimacheen, in the province of British Columbia in Canada. I’m sharing a space with wonderful two and four-legged living beings. Hope is alive and thriving n Flyway Farm. The big sky is full of “What If?” possibilities, and the large mountains surrounding me give ancient stability to this time in my life.
The seed of the multigenerational trauma that the surgeons at Duke Oncology cut out of me lodged itself in my gut, which locked up my body requiring an emergency room visit for constipation. Not fun! But, now everything that was inside of me is out! Yesterday is truly gone forever! I’m beginning a new day in a new way in Spillimacheen.
